Combine flour, baking powder, sesame seeds and cardamom powder water to make a stiff dough.
Roll into a thick round disc, and cut parallel crisscross lines to form diamond shaped pieces.
Heat oil in a wok, deep fry these pieces, drain and keep aside. Make a sugar syrup out of sugar and water, reducing to one thread consistency. Add rose water, stir and drop the pieces and spread out to dry. Store in airtight tin.
